Kalen Shen is a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia with more than 30 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She graduated from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shenyangand received extensive training in acupuncture and classical TCM under the mentorship of respected physicians including Professor Wang Leshan and Professor Gu Yueshan, from a well-known acupuncture lineage.
Prior to practicing in Canada, Kalen worked in hospital-based TCM practice in China and later provided acupuncture care internationally in Saudi Arabia and South Korea, gaining broad clinical experience with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Her clinical approach follows the traditional TCM principle of individualized pattern-based care. By combining acupuncture, moxibustion, and traditional Chinese therapeutic massage (Tui Na), she focuses on supporting the body’s natural balance and functional recovery.
