    Dr. John Yang is a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM) in British Columbia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

    With over 30 years of clinical experience in acupuncture and herbal medicine, Dr. Yang previously served as Dean and Clinic Director at PCU College of Holistic Medicine from 2003 to 2014. He has been actively involved in professional education and has delivered academic presentations on Traditional Chinese Medicine both nationally and internationally.

    Dr. Yang is currently a faculty member at Kwantlen Polytechnic University — the first public university in Canada to offer a Traditional Chinese Medicine–Acupuncture program. He has played an integral role in the development of the program and serves as Department Head. In addition, he is the President of the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Colleges of Canada.

    In clinical practice, Dr. Yang applies traditional diagnostic approaches, including pulse assessment, to guide individualized acupuncture and herbal treatment plans aimed at supporting patients’ overall health and functional well-being.
