    Jieli Chen, Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac)

     

     Chen holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Hong Kong University and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Science from Hong Kong Baptist University.

    With a strong foundation in both Eastern and Western medical knowledge, she is now a licensed acupuncturist in BC. Her clinical practice focuses on using acupuncture to address health issues arising from modern lifestyle imbalances, including emotional stress, dietary habits, and irregular routines.

     Her treatment approach is characterized by careful assessment, precise point selection, and a gentle needling technique. She emphasizes supporting the body’s natural self-regulating ability to gradually restore physiological balance and internal harmony.

    Her areas of clinical focus include:

    • Common pain conditions: neck, shoulder, lower back, and leg pain; sciatica; migraines; sports-related injuries
    • Emotional and sleep disorders: insomnia, anxiety, premenstrual mood swings, chronic stress
    • Women’s health: dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
    • Digestive function support: poor digestion, bloating, low appetite, chronic diarrhea or constipation, stress-related gastrointestinal discomfort
    • Suboptimal health states: chronic fatigue, low immunity, stress-induced physical issues
    • Additional experience in treating hair loss and performing cosmetic acupuncture
